Shawna Moresco, RN-C, BSN

If you are a Vein patient, you will undoubtedly get to know Shawna, our Vein Clinic Coordinator, very well. This feisty and fit brunette has been an RN since 1994, with 12 of those years spent on Labor and Delivery for Salina Regional Health Center. Shawna takes great pride in her profession and is constantly seeking new knowledge in her field. In 2004 she graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), which she achieved while working full time as an RN and while being a full time mom and wife for her family. Since joining Dr. Hendrick’s practice at the beginning of 2008, Shawna has developed rapidly into a clinical expert on vein disease, laser therapies, and sclerotherapy.

Shawna grew up in Wilson, Kansas. She is married with two children and is passionate about nursing, physical fitness and family. She coaches youth soccer and basketball and is very involved in her church. She also enjoys working out, going to the lake, being with friends and family, and travel and food.

Whether she is scheduling a follow up appointment, talking with an insurance company, or helping with minor surgery, patients are sure to cross paths with her efficient and engaging personality. Kimberr joined Salina Surgical Arts in 2009 and, with extensive work experience in both clinical and administrative duties, has quickly become a vital part of our team.

Lori Hall, RN, BSN
OR Supervisor

Although Dr. Hendrick will be the one performing your actual surgery, it is Lori who really makes the OR “go.” As OR Supervisor, Lori oversees virtually every aspect of your surgical experience-from preop to recovery. She will be the first smiling face you see upon entering the operating suite and the last face you see upon discharge. Lori takes great pride in her operating room and in her patients, and it shows.

Lori is double degreed, having both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kansas Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Washburn University. She has worked in surgery at Salina Regional Health Center since 2005 following a year of experience in level 1 trauma surgery. She joined Salina Surgical Arts Center full-time in 2010.

Lori grew up in Salina and graduated from Salina Central High. She is married with 3 children. Lori is very involved in her church, she is an ardent K-State fan, and she enjoys good food, four-wheeling, the outdoors, and kids’ activities.
